(Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
Helps Pennsylvanians buy food.
People in eligible low-income households can obtain more nutritious diets with SNAP increasing their food purchasing power at grocery stores and supermarkets. Those who are eligible receive an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) ACCESS Card to make food purchases. Experiencing a food emergency and need food right away? Help is available

assistance with asylum and citizenship applications and court representation in matters

4. Nationalities Service Center- provides services such as English classes, legal assistance,
employment preparation
5. Community Legal Services of Philadelphia- provides advice and representation for civil
legal problems relating to employment, access to health care, public benefits, SSI, debt
and consumer problems, housing, utilities, criminal and child abuse records, long-term
care, services for senior citizens, home ownership, DHS (parents only), language access and other issues.
